SAN DIEGO (Feb. 26, 2021) The Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59) returns to its homeport at Naval Base San Diego, Feb. 26, 2021. Part of the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group, Princeton returned to Naval Base San Diego after a more than 10-month deployment to the to the U.S. 5th Fleet and U.S. 7th Fleet areas of operations, which included freedom of navigation operations and participation in Operations Freedom’s Sentinel, Inherent Resolve and Octave Quartz.
