Cynthia Nestor, left, a native of Silver Spring, Md., receives the COVID-19 vaccine from Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Jorge Casasola, a native of Houston, aboard Ticonderoga-class cruiser USS Lake Champlain (CG 57). Vaccines were administered to over 300 Lake Champlain Sailors who volunteered to receive the shot. Lake Champlain is currently pierside in its homeport of San Diego.
