Navy pilots and aircrew from Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 49 and Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 41 pose for a photo before taking off on the first all-women crew MH-60R training flight in 2021. HSM-49 and HSM-41 provide vertical-launched anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare capabilities to carrier strike groups, amphibious ready groups and independently deployed naval vessels.
