Elizabeth Nashold

Elizabeth Nashold serves as the deputy commander, Naval Information Forces (2022). A former civil engineer corps officer, Nashold assumed her current duties in 2019. She leads a team of more than 500 military and civilian professionals and directly manages an annual budget of approximately $1.2 billion. Nashold is also responsible for the man, train and equip functions for Navy information warfare (IW) and Fleet C5ISR (command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) capabilities for 88 subordinate operational shore commands and 21,000 personnel.
