Navy releases advancement results for E4, E5 and E6

The names of more than 21,000 active duty, 1,800 Reserve and 500 Full Time Support (FTS) Sailors selected for advancement to E4, E5, and E6 have been released.

"Congratulations to all the Sailors who advanced this cycle," said Fleet Master Chief of Manpower, Personnel, Training, and Education April Beldo. "You earned this through hard work and dedication to the Navy, and it demonstrates your ability to step into greater positions of leadership."

Commands may view results on the Navy Enlisted Advancement System (NEAS) website and Sailors may view their profile sheets on Navy Knowledge Online (NKO).

"After every exam we ask leadership, our Chief's Mess and our first classes to sit down with those petty officers who didn't advance," said Beldo. "Through career development boards we look at their test scores, evals and performance and help them develop a plan to keep moving forward. We want to make sure these Sailors understand there is still an opportunity to stay Navy and advance."

@ Samantha Wong: Passing the exam does not guarentee promotion. Each cycle there is a cut off score. Your test, your award points and points from any tests you've taken and passed, but haven't advanced from (PNA) are totaled. If the score still does not meet the cut off score then you do not advance. It appears your daughter passed the exam, but not with enough points to advance. Award and PNA points would have helped increase her score, but she hasn't been in long enough to acrue any. She will have to continue to take the test each cycle until she passes with enough points to advance. I hope this helps.

My daughter passed her exam, but was told she's not getting promoted due to not having any awards cos she just joined in May 2013. If the student passed the exam, will they get promoted automatically? Will she have to retake the exam again for promotion or she have to wait till she get some awards?

Cavasser Recruiters are not active or FTS, they are more so on the Reserves side, they are full time Recruiters. It is a good program, I was going to apply for it last year, but I decided to stay in at the last minute.

Those recruiters are seperate because they are the recruiters that are NC's and have gone CRF (Career Recruiting Force)

Why are recruiters on a separate list? Are they not active duty or FTS?
