  • The amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), with the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (31st MEU), is moored in Okinawa, Japan, following exercise Spring Patrol 2018. Spring Patrol is a regularly scheduled patrol of the Indo-Pacific region. The 31st MEU partners with the Navy's Amphibious Squadron 11 to form the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, capable of accomplishing a variety of missions across the Indo-Pacific region.
