The guided-missile destroyer USS Pinckney (DDG 91) returns to Naval Base San Diego following a seven-month deployment to the western Pacific and Indian Oceans. Pinckney was conducting maritime security operations in the South China Sea when called upon to assist in the search for Malaysian Airlines Flight MH-370.
