  • Sailors maneuver an AV-8B Harrier, from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). Assistant Secretary of the Navy visits San Diego Base facilities

SAN DIEGO - Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Manpower and Reserve Affairs, the honorable Franklin R. Parker, witnessed the graduation of 486 of the nation's newest Marines as they completed training at Marine Recruit Depot San Diego Sept. 23.
