Chief petty officer selects in the Turner Joy CPO Legacy Academy Class 005 conduct damage control on a ruptured pipe as part of one of five scenarios during a reenactment of Operation Sea Dragon. The Turner Joy CPO Legacy Academy is a six-day academy in which chief selects from around the Pacific Northwest Region live aboard the Vietnam Era destroyer and participate in community service projects, Turner Joy preservation, leadership training, reenactments of Vietnam Era operations, and heritage projects relating to the history of the U.S. Navy and the CPO mess. Ball Caps May be Worn with NWUs Beginning Sept. 1

The Navy and command ball caps may be worn in place of the eight-point cover with the Navy Working Uniform Type I, II or III beginning Sept. 1, as outlined in NAVADMIN 200/14, released Aug. 27.
