Sailors assigned to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) and civilian shipyard workers celebrated the beginning of Carl Vinson's Planned Incremental Availability (PIA) period with a pier-side barbecue luncheon, Aug. 2.
