USS Kearsarge and USS Oak Hill to Support Hurricane Harvey Relief  (30 August 2017)
Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, Adm. Phil Davidson, has ordered the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) and dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) to get underway.

The amphibious assault ships USS Wasp (LHD 1), USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) and dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) along with the Marines of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit are supporting the lead federal agency in providing humanitarian relief efforts for Hurricane Irma.
USS Abraham Lincoln and USS San Jacinto depart Florida coast  (14 September 2017)
The aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) with embarked Carrier Strike Group 12 (CSG 12) staff, and the guided-missile cruiser USS San Jacinto (CG 56) departed Key West, Fla., yesterday after turning over Navy sea-based support to civilian authorities to Carrier Strike Group 10 (CSG 10).
USS Iwo Jima and USS New York Return to Mayport  (18 September 2017)
USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), USS New York (LPD 21), along with multiple embarked Navy and Marine Corps units, completed initial rescue and recovery operations in support of federal and state officials, Sept. 17, following Hurricane Irma's devastation of the Florida Keys.
Bold Alligator 2017 Exercises Amphibious Forces  (13 October 2017)
Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces (USFF) Command and Commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Command (MARFORCOM) will commence Bold Alligator 2017 (BA17) in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and at-sea Atlantic ranges Oct. 18 through Oct. 30.
