T-34 Crashes Near Bob Hall Pier   (24 August 2011)
A T-34C Turbomentor, a two seat training aircraft, assigned to Training Squadron 28 based out of Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Texas, crashed at approximately 6:33 p.m. Aug. 24 about five miles south of Bob Hall Pier while conducting routine flight training.
T-45 Crashes Near NAS Kingsville, Pilots Eject Safely  (2 November 2011)
At approximately 10:08 a.m. Nov. 2, a T-45 Goshawk, a two-seat training aircraft, assigned to Training Squadron 21 based out of Naval Air Station Kingsville, Texas, crashed shortly after taking off from the naval air station while conducting routine flight training.
Navy Training Aircraft Find New Life at Local College  (8 February 2012)
Navy officials donated two T-34 training aircraft that have been in the Navy for more than 60 years combined to Del Mar College Feb. 6.

A naval officer was inducted into the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame, during a ceremony and luncheon as part of the USA Gymnastics National Congress and Trade Show in San Jose, Calif., June 30.

Naval Aviators and local leaders joined together aboard Naval Air Station Corpus Christi to welcome the newest training aircraft to Training Air Wing 4, July 26.
