The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) presented Naval Base Coronado (NBC) with one of this year's Military Conservation Partner Awards, May 29, for its outstanding conservation efforts throughout its various installations.

Navy triathletes made history June 1, when both the men's and women's teams took home gold medals at the Armed Forces Triathlon Championship at Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) Point Mugu, California.
