October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month and Naval Air Station Oceana commissary employees have been wearing pink and handing out information to customers about breast cancer to raise awareness.

The 2014 Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana Air Show was recognized Dec. 11 at the annual conference for the International Council of Air Shows (ICAS) for being the military air show in North America that best demonstrated superior community relations and collaboration.

MCPON Visits FRMCA Site Oceana  (28 January 2015)
Fleet Readiness Center Mid-Atlantic Site Oceana (FRCMA) hosted Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) (AW/NAC) Mike D. Stevens Jan. 16 for a tour of the command. Stevens is the U.S. Navy's highest-ranking enlisted Sailor and senior enlisted advisor to the Chief of Naval Operations.
Local Culinary Specialists Compete in 'Best of the Mess'   (3 February 2015)
