Electronic Attack Squadron Commander Relieved  (9 January 2014)
The commanding officer of Electronic Attack Squadron 140(VAQ-140), Cmdr. Joe V. Martinez, was relieved of his command Jan. 8 by Capt. Terry S. Morris, Commander, Carrier Air Wing 7 (CVW-7).
Statement on Missing Pilot from MH-53E Helo Crash off coast of Virginia  (10 January 2014)
On Jan. 8, 2014 a Navy MH-53E helicopter crashed off the coast of Virginia Beach, Va. The wife of the missing pilot has asked the Navy to release his name. The family asks for privacy during this difficult time. The missing pilot is Lt. Sean Christopher Snyder, 39, from Santee, Calif.
