Seabees Play Integral Part in Balikatan 2008 (29 March 2008)
Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5 and Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2 participated in school construction and renovation projects as part of Balikatan 2008, which ended March 14.
Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5 Det. Chinhae participated in construction projects with Republic of Korea (ROK) Engineers as part of Foal Eagle 2008 (FE 08) from Feb. 12 to March 8 in Seoul.

Seabee divers from Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2 Air Detachment Alfa completed successful diving operations at Thule Air Base, Greenland, the northernmost deepwater port in the world, Aug. 27.
