Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5 and Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2 participated in school construction and renovation projects as part of Balikatan 2008, which ended March 14.

Retired Officers Donate Phone Cards for Deployed Seabees   (13 September 2008)

Seabee divers from Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2 Air Detachment Alfa completed successful diving operations at Thule Air Base, Greenland, the northernmost deepwater port in the world, Aug. 27.

Corpsman Gives Gift of Life on His Birthday   (10 April 2009)
A hospital corpsman, with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 40, saved the life of a Masbate province toddler, who nearly drowned after falling into a pool at the Bituon Beach Resort April 6.
