USS Nimitz Coordinates Counter Narcotics Seizure  (19 June 2012)
The crew of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) coordinated efforts with USS Princeton (CG 59), Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 6, Helicopter Maritime Squadron (HSM) 75 and the Mexican navy to retrieve 186 bales of marijuana, June 16, which were apparently destined for the United States.
DEFY Youth Tour Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 41  (6 August 2012)

Capt. David H. Lepard, force weapons officer for Commander Naval Air Forces, passed the Senior Limited Duty Officer Silver Eagle and Horse Shoe award to Capt. Gerry Slevin from Commander Defense Information Systems Agency, Special Operations Command, during Lepard's retirement ceremony.

'Sundowners' Play Adversary Role at UNITAS  (26 September 2012)
The 'Sundowners' of Composite Fighter Squadron (VFC) 111 put naval forces from Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Mexico, the United Kingdom and the United States to the test during an air defense exercise that kicked off UNITAS Sept. 20-22.
