USS Gary Returns from Deployment (4 April 2013)
The Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate USS Gary (FFG 51) will return from her six-month, independent deployment conducting counter transnational organized crime (C-TOC) operations in the 4th Fleet Area of Responsibility (AOR), April 5.
USS Cowpens Returns from Japan, Hull-Swap (5 April 2013)
The Ticonderoga-class cruiser USS Cowpens (CG 63) is scheduled to return from the Seventh Fleet Area of Responsibility (AOR) April 8 after completing its forward-deployed mission and a hull swap with USS Antietam (CG 54).
USS Chancellorsville Completes Live Fire Exercise (9 April 2013)
Sailors aboard the Ticonderoga class guided-missile Cruiser USS Chancelorsville (CG 62) completed a live fire test of the ship's enhanced Aegis Combat System, during an at-sea test scenario April 2.

The guided-missile frigate USS Thach (FFG 43) will return to San Diego from its deployment to the 4th Fleet Area of Operations (AOR), April 12.

USS Decatur Returns from Deployment (17 April 2013)
The Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Decatur (DDG 73) will return to San Diego from a ballistic missile defense deployment to the Western Pacific Ocean and U.S. Central Command Areas of Responsibility (AOR) April 19.
Naval and ground forces from the United States, Canada, Japan and New Zealand will participate in amphibious exercise Dawn Blitz 2013 off the coast of Southern California June 11-28.
USS Momsen Departs for Western Pacific Deployment (22 April 2013)
The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Momsen (DDG 92) departed Naval Station Everett for a scheduled deployment to the Western Pacific April 22.

The John C. Stennis Strike Group (JCSSG) returned to San Diego Apr. 29, marking the end of a successful deployment for Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 9 and the guided-missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay (CG 53) to the U.S. Navy's 5th and 7th Fleet areas of responsibility (AOR).
