Training to be a Seabee requires more than studying manuals or sitting in a classroom. To excel in all aspects of construction, today's Seabees need real world, hands-on experience. The Construction Training Exercise (CTX) is designed for that very purpose.

US Navy Seabee Invited to White House  (29 February 2012)
A Navy Seabee was invited to a White House dinner hosted by President and Mrs. Obama Feb. 29 to express the nation's gratitude to, and recognize the significant contributions of, the men and women in uniform who served in Operations Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn, and their families.
