Comfort is underway operating in the vicinity of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Comfort is underway operating in the vicinity of San Juan, Puerto Rico, to provide medical services with additional visits being planned around the island. The U.S. Health and Human Services and Puerto Rico Department of Health representatives are prioritizing patients at each stop prior to Comfort's arrival.   • Search and rescue swimmers Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Scott Stearns, from McKinney, Texas, and Gas Turbine Systems Technician (Mechanical) 3rd Class Harrison Kruger, from Lugoff, S.C., both assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Howard (DDG 83), rescue a loggerhead sea turtle entangled on a semi-sunken fishing vessel. Howard is deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations conducting maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners, preserving freedom of navigation and maintaining the free flow of commerce.
