  • Sailors and Marines assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) man the rails as the ship pulls into the pier for Fleet Week Port Everglades. Fleet Week Port Everglades provides an opportunity for the citizens of South Florida to witness first-hand the latest capabilities of today's maritime services and gain a better understanding of how the sea services support the maritime strategy and national defense of the United States.   • Cmdr. Ed Sundberg, off-going commanding officer of the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85), returns a salute to Cmdr. Ed Angelinas, the ship's oncoming commanding officer, during the ship's change of command ceremony. Angelines relieved Sundberg as McCampbell's commanding officer. McCampbell is forward deployed to the 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Asia Pacific.
