  • Ensign Karen Quiles communicates with the helmsmen during shiphandling training aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). The training allowed junior officers, under the instruction of qualified officers, to gain hands-on experience in maneuvering methods that are used during various at-sea operations and response scenarios.
