  • The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), front, the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Wayne E. Meyer (DDG 108) and the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force helicopter destroyer JS Ise (DDH 182) participate in a bilateral exercise.   • The Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Olympia (SSN 717) arrives at Naval Base Kitsap-Bremerton for a namesake visit. The boat is visiting Olympia to perform community relations projects and tour the capital.   • Marines and Sailors assigned to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (26th MEU) and Amphibious Ready Group 4, man the rails of the Harpers Ferry-class dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) as the ship arrives in Batumi, Georgia, for a scheduled port visit.   • Sailors assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron (CRS) 3 are underway aboard a Mark VI patrol boat during unit level training conducted by Coastal Riverine Group (CRG) 1 Training and Evaluation Unit. CRG-1 provides a core capability to defend designated high value assets throughout the green and blue-water environment and providing deployable Adaptive Force Packages worldwide in an integrated, joint and combined theater of operations.
