The course to Midway started not on a map in a top secret chart room with top strategists and tacticians contemplating Japans next move, but was set by the deciphering of messages from the Japanese Fleet. This was done by a hand full of U.S. Navy intelligence officers stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
This is first in a series of four presentations leading to the victory at Midway. It explores and celebrates the stunning achievement of the "Navy Code Breakers" whose insight and hard work deciphered the symbol "AF" as Midway.
