Q1: What are some of the reasons why a request can be denied?
A1: Aviation Support for public events is based on guidance found in Department of Defense and Navy regulations. Many events do not meet these specific guidelines and are, therefore, found to be ineligible. Some other common technical problems are incomplete forms, submitting requests past the 14-day deadline, and no response from the sponsor when requesting additional information. Events which are typically ineligible include charities, fundraisers, and membership drives. The Navy also will not support sponsorship of religious groups, political groups, secret societies, and events which benefit a specific group such as conventions.
Q2: What kind of aircraft can I ask for?
A2: Any operational aircraft in the Navy inventory.

Q9: How long will it take to find out if I am approved?
