Was the message clearly articulated? Organization Are points made in a logical sequence? Are transition points clear and easy to follow? Were the main points fully developed? Was equal time given to each point? Is sufficient support or valid supporting evidence provided? Is the information easy to understand? Is the speech personal and localized? Is it free of jargon or acronyms? Are anecdotes, comparisons, and metaphors clear? Closing Summary Was it concluded quickly? Did it end on positive note? Was the closing statement strong? Were the main points reiterated? Speaker's Delivery Was eye contact maintained throughout the speech? Were the hand movements and gestures natural and varied? Were there any noticeable ticks or nervous habits ie gripping lectern, shifting position or distracting quirks? Did the speaker rely heavily on notes to make the speech? Were the pitch, volume and speed of the speech easy to discern? Was the tone of the speech positive and confident?
