Rear Admiral  Stephanie T. Keck

A native of Texas, Rear Adm. Stephanie T. Keck is a 1988 graduate of Hardin-Simmons University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and was commissioned in via the Nuclear Propulsion Officer Candidate program. Additionally, she graduated from the Air War College in 2006.

She began her career as an instructor at the Navy Nuclear Power School in Orlando, Florida, followed by assignments with Naval Security Group Activity Adak, Alaska, the National Security Agency as a participant in the Junior Officer Cryptologic Career Program, the U.S. 7th Fleet aboard USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) as the cryptologic resource coordinator, U.S. Central Command as the deputy collection manager, and Multi-National Force Iraq as the Chief of Information Operations. She commanded both U.S. Naval Security Group Activity Yokosuka, Japan, and Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command where she also served as the commander of Task Force 1020 under the U.S. 10th Fleet.

Keck served staff tours on the U.S. Pacific Fleet staff and with the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations. She was the division director for the Information Dominance Corps at Navy Personnel Command, and she was a fellow on the Chief of Naval Operation’s Strategic Studies Group 35.

Keck reported to Joint Interagency Task Force South in October 2017 from the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Agency in Washington, D.C.

Keck’s personal decorations include the Legion of Merit (three awards), Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal (two awards), Meritorious Service Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal
