"This was the most well-received ambassador's engagement I have done in my entire career," said Lt. Geordie Kelly, 7th Fleet band master. "It was the perfect storm of a great band, hostess and audience."

With more than 200 hundred guests in attendence, Sailors and Marines were given the opportunity to sing and dance with the locals.

"I had a great time at the ambassador's house; it was better then I expected," said Information Technician 2nd Class Rokesha Payne, 7th fleet systems administrator. "The ambassador was very friendly and down to earth and this was a memorable event."

Blue Ridge and embarked 7th Fleet staff are currently on patrol operating forward while building maritime partnerships and conducting security and stability operations.
