WASHINGTON (NNS) -- The Navy released a video highlighting the goals and capabilities of My Navy Portal (MNP), April 2.

The three-minute video underscores Chief of Naval Personnel Vice Adm. Robert Burke's vision of streamlining electronic administrative services for Sailors, by offering the portal as a "one-stop shop" where users can access their records and conduct personnel transactions.

While MNP does not yet contain all of a Sailor's records or data, additional capabilities are scheduled for addition every 2-3 months. By 2020, a Sailor's personnel, training, and education records and data will all be available for a smoother, more efficient experience.
