Chief of Naval Personnel Holds Board Results

WASHINGTON (NNS) -- Following completion of the fiscal year 2010 Navy Reserve E-8 and E-9 board, an allegation was made that the board process was not conducted in a fair and impartial manner regarding one of its panels. Because upholding the integrity of the selection board process is paramount, the chief of naval personnel is withholding the board results pending further inquiry and resolution.

It is Navy policy not to comment on the conduct or deliberations of the board.
