WASHINGTON (NNS) -- The chief of naval operations (CNO) recorded two podcasts Sept. 9 putting out vital information to the fleet.

Adm. Gary Roughead, CNO, talked about the stand up of Fleet Cyber Command/10th Fleet and how it will affect Sailors around the globe. In the second podcast, CNO talked about personnel issues such as Perform to Serve, selective reenlistment bonuses, continuation boards and the H1N1 flu shot. He also stressed the importance of each and every Sailor to the Navy and the nation.

"Thank all of you for your service, for the great work that you do, for the commitment that you have to the mission. And by extension to thank your families for the support they give you, whether it's a spouse, your kids, a sister, a brother or just a good friend. Thank them for me, for all they do for us," Roughead said.
