KANDAHAR, Afghanistan (NNS) -- Seabees of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 133 inventoried the 22 Naval Construction Regiment's supply yard on Kandahar Airfield (KAF) in Afghanistan March 15.

More than 1,000 different types of material and equipment were inventoried by NMCB 133's Central Tool Room /Material Liaison Office (CTR/MLO) staff.

Vast amounts of supplies come through KAF to keep the thousands of projects and operations underway.

"Our work with the 22nd Naval Construction Regiment is fundamental to the surge going on in Afghanistan. We need to get tools and materials out to our troops on the Forward Operation Bases so they can do their jobs," said Steelworker 3rd Class Kristopher Alphin.
