MILLINGTON, Tenn. (NNS) -- The Navy has rescheduled the Fiscal Year 2014 (FY14) Reserve and Full Time Support Chief Petty Officer (CPO) Selection Board, according to a Navy message released Jan. 16.
The board, originally scheduled to convene here in May, has been rescheduled to convene here July 22, according to NAVADMIN 006/13.
Eligibility requirements and the timeline of events initially announced in NAVADMINs 294/12 and 308/12, still apply with the following updates:
- All Reserve candidates changing ratings must be in their new rating by June 22 to be considered for selection to CPO in their new rating.
- Individual correspondence for Reserve CPO selection-board-eligible candidates must be received at Navy Personnel Command Customer Service Center July 1.
- Reserve CPO selection board convenes July 22.
There are approximately 109,000 Sailors serving in the Reserves as Selected Reserves, Full Time Support, or Individual Ready Reserves. For more information on the FY14 CPO Selection Board read NAVADMINS 294/12, 308/12 and 006/13 available at www.npc.navy.mil.
