(Oct. 9, 2017) U.S. Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey aircraft assigned to Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron (MAWTS) 1 drop off Marines assigned to Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines during Assault Support Tactics One (AST-1) in support of the Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course (WTI) 1-18 at Combat Town in Wellton, Ariz., on Oct. 9, 2017. (Sept. 21, 2017) Seabees learn how to install nuclear, biological and chemical filters on the lightweight water purification system (LWPS) during training onboard Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story. Using reverse osmosis technology, the lightweight, modular, highly transportable, self-contained LWPS is capable of purifying up to 75 gallons per hour of salt water and 125 gallons per hour of fresh water.
