Pacific contractor, cut a ribbon during the grand opening of the newly-renovated Emergency Department. Improvements to the department include five triage bays, five high-acuity beds, $650,000 of new equipment, and an increase from 26 to 41 beds. PACIFIC OCEAN (July 18, 2012) The guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59) flies the Energy Security flag during the Great Green Fleet demonstration portion of the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2012 exercise. Twenty-two nations, more than 40 ships and submarines, more than 200 aircraft and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC exercise from June 29 to Aug. 3, in and around the Hawaiian Islands. The world's largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC provides a unique training opportunity that helps participants foster and sustain the cooperative relationships that are critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security on the world's oceans.
