UNITED STATES (Aug. 18, 2011) Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) freshmen midshipmen stand ready for inspection during their New Student Orientation (NSO) week at the University of Missouri (MIZZOU) here, Aug. 15-19. The Navy recently announced a new NROTC unit will be stood up at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N. J. This partnership between the Navy and Rutgers will mark the first time since 1972 that the NROTC program will be available to college students in New Jersey.
