AFGHANISTAN (Jan. 23, 2011) CAMP LEATHERNECK, Afghanistan, (Jan. 23, 2011) Construction Mechanic 1st Class (SCW) Scott Lewis of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3's Convoy Security Element (CSE) directs a large tractor trailer out of the Seabee camp so that it can line up outside in preparation for a convoy Jan. 23. The tractor trailer was carrying an excavator that will be used by a large team of Seabees as they build a road and a combat outpost for US and NATO forces in order to increase stability and safety of the region. The Seabees of NMCB 3 left early this morning to conduct this mission.
