The pilots flew a 2,400 pound hydraulic power unit to the flight deck of USS Independence (LCS 2). This was the first time the NSWC PCD aviation unit conducted both VERTREP training and operational mission support flying the MH-60S aircraft presently used at NSWC PCD for research, development, test and evaluation.
