ARANDIS, Namibia (April 27, 2011) Chief Explosive Ordnance Technician Justin Berlien, second left, master explosive ordnance disposal technician assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 11, Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa, shares information on explosive electric firing systems procedures to members of the Namibia Defense Forces EOD and Namibian National Police Explosive Control Unit. Navy EOD technicians and the NDF are engaging in a joint training seminar to enhance their understanding of safely handling and disposing of unexploded ordnance. EODMU-11 is partnering with the Namibian Defense Forces EOD and Police Explosive Control Unit to support the Humanitarian Mine Action program by providing familiarization with International Mine Action Standards.
