DETROIT (Sep. 8, 2012) Michigan Gov. Richard Dale "Rick" Snyder welcomes the Navy to Michigan at a reception aboard the Oliver Hazard Perry-Class frigate USS De Wert (FFG 45) during the Navy's commemoration of the bicentennial of the War of 1812 in Detroit. This celebration coincides with Detroit Navy Week, one of 15 signature events planned across America in 2012.
