BUFFALO, N.Y. (Sept. 11, 2012) The U.S. Navy Chief of Staff, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, Rear Adm. Rebecca McCormick-Boyle gives a gift to Brian Stiller, medical director at the Western New York Healthcare System, to commemorate Buffalo's role in the War of 1812. Buffalo Navy Week 2012 is one of 15 signature events planned across America in 2012. The weeklong event commemorates the bicentennial of the War of 1812, hosting service members from the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy.
