BUFFALO, N.Y. (Sept. 12, 2012) Chief (select) Operations Specialist Steven Smothers, assigned to the guided-missile frigate USS De Wert (FFG 45), helps with the restoration of the WWII and Korean War Memorial at Lasalle Park during Buffalo Navy Week 2012. This one of 15 signature events planned across America in 2012.
