MAYPORT, Fla. (March 8, 2013) Capt. Paul E. Flood, commodore Destroyer Squadron 14, salutes as he walks through the sideboys during a decommissioning ceremony for the guided-missile frigate USS Underwood (FFG 36) at Naval Station Mayport. Underwood, named for Captain Gordon Waite Underwood, was commissioned on Jan. 29, 1983 as the 29th ship of the Oliver Hazard Perry class of guided-missile frigates.
