SUBIC BAY, Philippines (April 6, 2013) A U.S. Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 265, lands aboard the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Sacagawea (T-AKE 2) off the coast of Subic Bay. This first-ever flight operation during Exercise Balikatan 2013 tested the unique capability of Maritime Prepositioning Force ships to quickly move cargo and personnel ashore via air transport. Balikatan is an annual Republic of the Philippines-U.S. military bilateral training exercise and humanitarian assistance engagement and will take place in the from April 5 to 17.
