PORT HUENEME, Calif. (April 24, 2013) Fire Controlman 2nd Class Steven Mitchell, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Pinckney (DDG 91), shoots an M9 pistol during a visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) basic small-arms qualification. Pinckney is at Port Hueneme conducting a combat systems and deck groom preparing for an upcoming board of inspection and survey (INSURV).
