PENSACOLA, Fla. (June 6, 2013) Pilots and aircrew assigned to the U.S. Navy flight demonstration squadron, the Blue Angels, wave to the crowd in the Fiesta Day Parade, a part of the Fiesta of Five Flags that celebrates the founding of Pensacola in 1559. The Blue Angels have called Pensacola home since 1954, and although budget cuts have forced the cancellation of 2013 air shows and practice demonstrations, they are still committed to their mission of enhancing Navy recruiting, and representing the Navy and Marine Corps aviation in their local community.
