Operation Enduring Freedom (December 8, 2001) -- A forklift tractor departs a Landing Craft Air-Cushion (LCAC) vehicle attached to Assault Craft Unit Four (ACU-4) from the amphibious warfare ship USS Bataan (LHD 5). The forklift is used to move cargo from the LCAC to transportation to forward operating bases in Afghanistan on vehicles standing by on the beach.
