Operation Enduring Freedom (December 14, 2001) -- A U.S. Marine with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) straps on a backpack while laying back on the pack, then rolling to one side and raising up from all fours. The 26th MEU recently deployed to this undisclosed location within Afghanistan from aboard USS Bataan (LHD 5). The Bataan Amphibious Ready Group is deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
