Newport News, Va. (Sep. 11, 2002) -- Religious Program Specialist 2nd Class Sophia Flores, stationed aboard Precommissioning Unit Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), lights memorial candles in remembrance of the victims of the Sep. 11, 2001, during a memorial service held at the Full Gospel Church of Deliverance in Newport News, Va. An American flag flown over the Pentagon in honor of those lost, along with a certificate of authenticity from the Secretary of Defense, provided a fitting centerpiece during the service.
