NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (May 16, 2007) - U.S. Navy Chief of Chaplains, Rear Adm. Robert F. Burt, bids farewell to USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) Sailors after commending them on winning the 2006 Project Good Neighbor award for large commands afloat during a visit to the aircraft carrier. USS Carl Vinson Sailors have volunteered thousands of hours of community service time to assist the Hampton Roads community since the ship's arrival to Virginia in 2005.
